End of Dec. through January Workout Schedule

I plan on working out twice a day most days. Many times the workouts in the morning are very quick Turbo Fire HIIT workouts which I can definitely handle in the morning before I go to work! I want to start using the gym membership I am paying for monthy as well so since it is so cold here I will be running indoors on our track for a few weeks until it warms up a little bit. I also will be doing zumba at the gym and on Sundays, Ciera can come with me and she LOVES that!

Weekly Weigh In

We stayed up late last night...way later than we normally do so that meant that when my alarm went off at 7 to get up to go to my weekly weigh in I didn't get up. Oops :) That is one nice thing about being a teacher and being on Christmas break....SLEEPING in!!!
Once I got up I decided that I needed to get to the gym to start my work out habit now instead of waiting until the first of the year. I went and did Day 1 of Couch to 10K (will blog more about that later!) I also did 30 minutes on the elliptical. After working out I went and weighed in. Unfortunately I was up another 2 pounds which means back to the drawing board for the month of January. I really need to step up the exercise and track my food. When I was doing both I was dropping about 1 to 2 pounds a week.

Disapointed in my weigh in, but happy with the fact that at least I went in to get weighed!

Starting Stats

I figured that since I am restarting this journey that I should probably list my stats so that in the end I will be able to see how far I have come.

Weight: 189.6

I am going to continue to do weight watchers, and I will post every week on the days that I weigh in so that I can reflect on my week and the result from the weigh in.

Goals:

Work out four times a week
Lose 15 pounds by March 1st
Track EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth
This picture made me realize that I hate how I look, almost a year later I still look pregnant and I really need to step up and DO something about it.

An Introduction

Heartbreak and Hope....two words that have defined my life in 2012. At the beginning of the year we had hope, of a new baby due to come in June but by the end of January that hope had turned into heartbreak. We lost our daughter Emery on January 27 due to pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Weekly I have tried to decide if I want to start a blog, if it will help at all, and I have finally decided to try it and see where we end up. This is the story of our hope of eventually adding to our family of three on earth, and one heavenly angel. This is the story of losing weight and becoming healthy to add on to the possibility of having a healthy pregnancy. There will be fun stories, sad stories, venting, frusturation, laughter, and tears but I am hoping through all of this we will finally see hope through the heartbreak that we have had to endure this year.
